Born on April 27, 1959 at the Province of Kalinga of the Cordilleras in the Northern Philippines, the owner is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Mathematics at the Adventist University of the Philippines (AUP), at present he is taking his Master in Business Administration at the Ateneo de Manila University, Graduate School of Business (AGSB).

Arriving at Polillo, Quezon in 1984, Mr. Acquioben served as a physics and mathematics teacher at the Polillo Adventist Institute, and in 1988 he became the secondary school principal of that school until 1996 when he resigned as school administrator so he could freely engage in entreprenueral activities and push through with his political advocacy.

On August 1, 2001, Mr. Acquioben became the executive secretary of the Municipality of Polillo, Quezon. As he enjoyed the full confidence of the mayor,  he envisioned to institute some working projects for the development of the municipality as a tourist destination within the decade.  On May 15, 2006 he vacated his position as the executive secretary of his municipality, and assumed as the general manager of the Polillo Water District the following day.  Although he is now a general manager of a Government Owned and Controlled Corporation (GOCC), Mr. Acquioben is still vigorously pushing for the realization of his vision not only for his municipality, but for the whole Polillo Group of Islands as an ideal destination for tourists at the earlest possible time.
