Main Product - The Philippines remain as the number suplier of coconut by product in the world. The province of Quezon is the leading coconut producer in the country wherein the Municipality of Polillo is believed to have the bigest copra (semi-finished coconut product ready for milling for production of coconut oil) export in the province.
Climate - The whole area is relative hot from April to September. Not like in other areas of Luzon, the Polillo Group of Islands has longer rainy days than dry season. During the months of November and December, heavy down pouring of rains occur almost every day, and sea travel is very uncomfortable due to big waves brought by the wind locally known as amihan, a continuous wind coming from the northeast part of the Pacific Ocean.
